5 English Games You Can Play on the Way to School
10-15 minutes a day, 5 days a week — that's an hour and a quarter of weekly practice that costs nothing.
1. 20 Questions
Think of an object, animal, or place. The other person asks Yes/No questions in English. Great for building vocabulary and question forms.
2. I Spy
"I spy with my little eye something that is... red!" Kids love it, and learn colors, shapes, and descriptions.
3. Alphabet Game
Pick a category (animals, food, countries) and go through the alphabet — each person says a word starting with the next letter.
4. Shared Story
One person starts a sentence in English, the other continues. Build a crazy story together. Great for imagination and grammar.
5. Would You Rather?
"Would you rather fly or be invisible?" Answers and reasons — in English only. An excellent conversation game.
