The Parent as Learning Partner
"How can I help my child with English if my own English isn't perfect?" — you don't need to be a teacher to be a learning partner.
What a parent can do
Create an environment at home that encourages English. Ask "what did you learn today?" and genuinely mean it. Praise effort, not just success. Read English books aloud (an accent doesn't matter).
What not to do
Don't correct every mistake — it creates anxiety. Don't compare to siblings or friends. Don't push for instant results — language takes time.
Communication with the teacher
